Daniel T. Sines, M.D.Daniel T. Sines, MD., certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, specializes in Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Sines has received advanced training in the evaluation, medical, and surgical management of disorders of the eyelid, orbit, lacrimal drainage system, eyebrows, and the upper and mid face. Dr Sines special areas of interest include blepharospasm, eyelid malpositions (ptosis, entropion, ectropion), eyelid reconstruction following Mohs surgery, eyelid and orbital trauma, thyroid eye disease, lacrimal drainage and tearing problems, periocular and orbital malignancies, and facial and periocular rejuvenation. Dr Sines graduated with highest honors from Purdue University. He received a Masters Degree in Physiology from Indiana University. His medical school, internship, and ophthalmology residency were completed at Indiana University. He completed an ASOPRS approved fellowship in Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and Ocular Oncology at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. Dr. Sines has published book chapters, articles, and abstracts in the field of Ophthalmology. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. Since the completion of his fellowship, he is pursuing membership in the American Society of Ophthalmic, Plastic, and Reconstructive Surgery (ASOPRS), and will be eligible for membership later this year. Dr. Sines is the first ASOPRS trained Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon in Northwest Arkansas. He is joined in Arkansas with his wife and son. |
